This Picture is a very important picture during the this time period its a political cartoon showing how England is dominating all the other countries.

Social 

Yellow Journalism- Type pf sensational, biased, and often false reporting for the sake of attracting readers.

Boxer Rebellion- Group of members besieged foreign embassies in Beijing, Killing more then 200 foreign and taking others prisoner.

Protectorate- A country that is technically independent but, is actually under control of another country.

Economic

Open Door Policy-  A policy that allowed each foreign nation in China to trade Freely in other nation's spheres of influence.

Sphere of Influence- Section of a country where one foreign nation enjoys special rights and powers.

Imperialism- The economic and political Domination of a strong nation over other weaker nations.

Political

Dollar Diplomacy- A policy of joining the business interests of a country with its diplomatic interests abroad.

Big Stick Diplomacy- International negotiations backed by the threat of force. 

Jingoism- Extreme nationalism marked by aggressive foreign policy. 

History is a history of progress, it was a clash of world powers that all went for the same land. Leading to fighting and tension throughout  the world. Then in 1913 U.S legislation created the Federal Reserve System. "The 1913 U.S. legislation that created the current Federal Reserve System. The Federal Reserve Act intended to establish a form of economic stability through the introduction of the Central Bank, which would be in charge of monetary policy, into the United States. The Federal Reserve Act is perhaps one of the most influential laws concerning  the U.S. financial system."
